These are the earliest deadlines, and they are tied to the first day of the month, not to your birthday.
- AMC Theatres: your birthday must be on your free Stubs Insider account 30 days before the first day of your birth month. The free large popcorn then loads on the first day of the month.
- Cracker Barrel: the birthday must be on the account before the birth month. The free dessert loads on the first day of the month and is valid 45 days. You also need one qualifying purchase in the prior 12 months.
- Qdoba: the birthday must be set before the 1st of your birthday month and cannot be changed afterward.
- Ulta Beauty: the birthday should be on your profile before your birthday month to get the store coupon.
Step 2: 10 to 7 days before your birthday
This is the busiest sign-up window.
- Starbucks: join at least 7 days before, and have at least one Star-earning transaction before your birthday each year.
- Burger King: set the birthday 7 or more days ahead, with an eligible transaction in the prior 12 months.
- The Cheesecake Factory: 7 days ahead. The window runs from 7 days before to 7 days after.
- Cold Stone Creamery: 7 days ahead, with the reward loading 7 days before.
- Firehouse Subs: 7 days ahead, plus a $1 or more purchase in the prior 6 months made at least 7 days before.
- Benihana: 7 days ahead for the free account.

Step 3: 1 day before
A few brands need only about 24 hours, which makes them good last-minute adds. Do not count on them if you leave it later.
- Chick-fil-A: add the birthday 24 hours ahead or get the reward next year. Sunday birthdays arrive on Saturday.
- Dutch Bros: download the app before your birthday day, since an app downloaded on the birthday loads the next day.
- Jersey Mike's: opt in to email 24 hours before or get it next year.
- Philz Coffee: enter the birthday at least 1 day before.
Step 4: Birthday month
Month-long windows give you room to pick a convenient day.

Step 6: The week after
Some rewards stay open for a set number of days after they load, so check each reward's expiry before you write off a missed day.

- 14 days: Papa Johns, Cinnabon, and Moe's Southwest Grill.
